GENERAL INFORMATION

Hours:  Arrival (doors open):  8:20-8:35am,  Dismissal: Bus (3:25pm), Car Riders (3:35 pm).

Bus Transportation is offered through Brighton Area Schools.  See Bus Transportation section below.

Before/After School Programs:  Early Morning Care begins at 7:00 a.m.  Homework Club starts after school and ends at 5:30 p.m.  Cost for both is $5 per hour (billed by the quarter hour).

Lunch Program:  We offer hot lunch through Ordo.  They provide meals directly to the school each day.  Orders are placed through Ordo and are due Fridays at midnight for the following week.  Create and account at Ordo.com

The first section is for Jr. Kindergarten and Kindergarten families.

JK and Kindergarten Dress Code

JK and Kindergarten Dress CodeJr. Kindergarten and Kindergarten Students are not required to wear St. Patrick School uniforms. We invite our JK and Kindergarten students to dress comfortably to easily move about during their busy days!

If you did not bring to Round-Up, please provide:

Copies of:  Birth Certificate and Baptism, Certificate, and Immunization Records.  These items can also be provided on the first day of school.  Copies only.  Do not bring originals.

Bus Transportation

  St. Patrick School students may utilize Brighton Area Schools Transportation System. 

Morning Bus Procedures:  All students are dropped off at Maltby/Hornung location from their neighborhood bus.  There they board the St. Patrick School transfer bus.  All students arrive at St. Patrick School on one bus each morning.

Afternoon Bus Procedures:  Bus riders are dismissed at 3:22pm.  They board the St. Patrick School transfer bus to Maltby/Hornung.  There, they will board their neighborhood bus to be transported home.

Please note:  The students may arrive late and be released early to/from St. Patrick School due to the bus schedule. We are not able to control the bus schedule and are not able to accommodate changing the St. Patrick School schedule to match the bus system.

Records Release Form

When students transfer to a new school, families are asked to complete a New Student Records Release form.  This allows the prior school to forward your child’s school records to St. Patrick School.

St. Patrick School rebranded in 2022. Please view the video presentation.  New logos will be coming soon but we will allow the old logos until they naturally phase out.

Gym Class Apparel

Uniform Gym Shirts can be purchased through St. Patrick School.  We also have uniform-approved gym shorts and pants in our school store.

Blackbaud Tuition

Our school code is 11489.  All families must be enrolled in Blackbaud.

School Payment Program (e-Funds)

This system is used to pay school fees online. Families will need STUDENT ID (which we will provide to you) and you may sign up on the first day of school.

Medication Requirements

Medical Dispensing Waiver

This form is required before ANY medication may be dispensed to a student at school – even over the counter, such as ibuprofen, Tylenol, eye drops etc… This form requires the signature of a doctor.

Volunteer Requirements

Before a parent may volunteer  in the school or as a chaperone/driver, s/he must complete/submit the following:

Attend or submit online completion of a Protecting God’s Children Awareness Session*.  See VIRTUS below.

Print, complete and submit a Diocese of Lansing Criminal Background Check Disclosure and Authorization form below.  

If using your vehicle to drive for a field trip, submit a Volunteer Driver Form which can be found on your parent PowerSchool account under Forms.

Virtus

Virtus training is required to volunteer in any capacity at the school, including field trips. Select Lansing, MI Diocese.
